TikTok does not currently offer a public API for third parties to read TikTok LIVE event data (likes, gifts, follows, chat). To power our overlays, Mint Overlays relies on a third-party, unofficial method of retrieving this publicly broadcast data. This method is not published, supported, or sanctioned by TikTok.
Because this connection method is unofficial, TikTok may change its platform at any time in ways that stop the Service from working — temporarily or permanently — without any notice to us or to you. We do not guarantee continuous compatibility with TikTok, uninterrupted service, or the accuracy of any data displayed by our overlays.
Using unofficial tools to connect to TikTok LIVE data may carry inherent risk under TikTok's own Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your own use of the Service complies with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and for any consequences to your TikTok account, including but not limited to warnings, restrictions, or bans. Mint Overlays accepts no responsibility or liability for any action TikTok takes against your account as a result of your use of the Service.
The Service only displays data that is already publicly visible on a TikTok LIVE broadcast at the time it's shown — viewer nicknames, profile pictures, and gift/like activity that TikTok itself makes visible to anyone watching the stream. We do not access private account information, messages, or any data not already public on the livestream.
