1. Who We Are

Mint Overlays ("Mint Overlays," "we," "us," or "our") provides free TikTok Live browser-source overlays and a paid desktop companion app ("Desktop Edition") for TikTok Live streamers. This policy covers mintoverlays.com and the overlay widgets it serves (together, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

TikTok username you enter. When you type a TikTok username into the "Connect Your TikTok Live" field, we use it only to open a connection to that account's public TikTok LIVE event feed (likes, gifts, follows, joins, and chat messages) so your overlays can display it in real time.

Public TikTok Live data. While connected, we temporarily process publicly visible TikTok Live data — viewer nicknames, profile pictures, gift and like counts — solely to render it on your overlay widgets. This data is already public on TikTok at the moment it's broadcast; we don't collect it from anywhere private.

Session data. Your browser stores a randomly generated session ID and your selected overlay theme in local storage on your own device. This is not sent to any advertising or analytics network.

We do not collect: names, emails, passwords, or payment information through mintoverlays.com. We don't require an account to use the free overlays.

3. How Data Is Stored

TikTok Live event data used to power your overlays is held in server memory only for the duration of your active session, so widgets can display current totals and recent events. It is not written to a permanent database, sold, or shared with third parties. Inactive sessions are periodically and automatically cleared.

4. Desktop Edition Purchases

Mint Overlays Desktop Edition is sold exclusively through Gumroad, a third-party payment platform. We never see or store your payment card details — that information is collected and processed entirely by Gumroad under its own privacy policy. Any personal information you provide during checkout (such as your email) is governed by Gumroad's policies, not this one.

5. Third-Party Services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log IP addresses per Google's own policies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell visitor data.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, consistent with TikTok's own minimum age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You can request details about, or deletion of, any information we hold about you by contacting us at mintoverlays@gmail.com. Since we retain minimal data and TikTok Live event data is already cleared automatically, most requests can be resolved quickly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
